I would like to return my order

POLICY NOTICE:  BuyOrganic Nigeria does not currently accept returns or offer refunds. All purchases are final. We strongly advise buyers to review product listings in full, read vendor reviews, and contact vendors with any questions before placing an order.

Why Returns Are Not Currently Accepted

The majority of products sold on BuyOrganic Nigeria are organic agricultural goods — fresh produce, perishable food items, farm inputs, seeds, and seedlings. Due to the nature of these products, returns are not feasible for the following reasons:

• Fresh produce and perishables begin to degrade immediately after harvest and cannot be resold once dispatched
• Seeds and seedlings may be contaminated or compromised once opened or removed from controlled storage
• Organic certification requires strict chain-of-custody — returned goods cannot be reintroduced to certified stock
• Services such as training, consultancy, and farm setup cannot be reversed once delivered

What You Can Do Before Buying

• Read the product description and specifications carefully before purchasing
• Review the vendor’s ratings and feedback from previous buyers
• Ask the vendor questions through their store page before you order
• For large purchases, request a sample or smaller quantity first
• For services, request a detailed scope of work from the vendor before payment

If You Received the Wrong Item

If a vendor sends you an item that is clearly different from what you ordered, this is not a return — it is an incorrect fulfilment and we treat it seriously. Please follow these steps:

1. Take clear photographs of what you received alongside your order confirmation
2. Contact the vendor immediately through your Order Details page
3. If the vendor does not resolve it within 72 hours, escalate to BuyOrganic Nigeria support
4. Our team will review the evidence and take appropriate action including possible vendor suspension

Future Policy

We are actively developing a Buyer Protection Policy that will introduce structured resolution options for qualifying situations. We will communicate this to all registered users once it is launched.
