Why We Currently Do Not Offer Refunds
As an agricultural marketplace dealing in fresh produce, perishable farm goods, and one-of-a-kind farm services, processing refunds presents unique logistical challenges. The nature of organic produce means that quality and condition can vary and begin to change from the moment of harvest.
We are working towards implementing a structured refund and buyer protection policy in the near future as our platform grows. We will notify all users when this policy is introduced.
What You Can Do Instead
Before You Buy
- Read the full product description carefully before purchasing
- Check the vendor’s store rating and customer reviews
- If you have questions about a product, contact the vendor directly before ordering
- For large or bulk orders, request a sample where possible
If You Have a Complaint or Dispute
Although we cannot process refunds at this time, we take buyer complaints seriously. If you have an issue with an order, here is what to do:
- Contact the vendor directly through your Order Details page within 48 hours of receiving your order
- If the vendor is unresponsive or the issue is unresolved after 72 hours, report the dispute to BuyOrganic Nigeria by visiting our Contact Us page
- Provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any supporting photos
- Our team will mediate between you and the vendor and work towards a fair resolution
NOTE: While we cannot guarantee a financial refund at this time, we may take action against vendors who consistently deliver poor quality products, including suspension from the marketplace. Your complaint helps protect other buyers.
Disputing a Charge
If you believe you were charged incorrectly — for example, you were billed twice or charged an amount different from what was displayed at checkout — please contact us immediately at our support email with your order number and payment receipt. Billing errors are treated as a priority and resolved within 2 business days.
